EVE-OF-SEASON REVAMP FOR LEAGUE |

Faced with the prospect of the Uxella League's top division being significantly smaller than it's other two divisions for the imminent 2005-06 campaign, the decision has been taken to restructure the entire league into two divisions of fourteen teams. This creates a more workable scenario with regard to fixtures, allowing twenty six league games per team within a scheduled 33-week calendar.
In an interesting twist, two clubs, namely Tiger Old Boys and Grasshoppers, face the prospect of having both teams from their club operating in the same division. Both Tigers sides will be in action in Division 1 while Grasshoppers '04 and the newly formed Grasshoppers '05 will both feature in Division 2.
The fixtures as originally issued to teams as part of their yearly league handbook will now be subject to considerable revision and will be reissued at the September monthly meeting. In the meantime, please refer to the 'Fixtures' page on this site for further details of the revised schedule of games.
