NERVOUS WAIT FOR JENNINGS |

Nerves are starting to set in for Puriton United player-manager Richard Jennings as his team prepare to take on Sportsman this coming Wednesday evening at Bridgwater College in what could well turn out to be the Uxella Third Division title decider.
Jennings commented: "I am really nervous because if we win on Wednesday we could end up being crowned champions if the Artillery situation ends up in a points deduction decision. We have worked really hard this season and have come a long way in just over a year and I am proud of the lads. They have been fantastic and should be proud of their achievements even if we do not win the league.
We are all ready for Sportsman and we will go out on the evening giving it our best shot. They have got a great young side like ourselves so it should be a great game to watch.
We have had a few slip-ups this season including one particular game against Sportsman when they were down to nine men but still managed to beat us 5-2. They played us off the park that day but hopefully this time around it will be eleven men against eleven and we can show how good a team we are.
We would like to welcome back Ben Pollard on Wednesday for his first game in six after a broken foot kept him out. It's a boost for us because he is a great defender and we will need him.
We may be without Lee Mitchell who has scored 19 league goals this season, but we do have fantastic striker Will Beggs to pick after only playing 5 league games this season through work commitments. He is now available again and has scored eleven goals in his five recent outings including a hat-trick in the recent 5-5 friendly draw with Grasshoppers".
