PURITON KEY MEN OUT FOR COUNTRYMAN TRIP |
|
Puriton United's recent return to form in Division Three is under threat following the revelation that they are going to be without three key players for Sunday's tough away trip to Countryman.
Centre-back James Male is still out with the knee injury that forced him to miss last week's game. Now it has emerged that Ben Pollard will be unavailable due to family commitments. In addition, Player-Manager Rich Jennings is forced to stand down as a result of a troublesome foot injury.
That leaves United with one out & out defender but on the plus side they are able to welcome back goal-machine Lee Mitchell following a recent fall-out with the club's management that came about during a trying week for the striker.
Manager Rich Jennings commented: "We wish Lee all the best and welcome him back into the fold with open arms and hope he can pick up where he left off. We would also like to congratulate Dean Taylor for his Player of the Month award following some fantastic displays. Long may it continue".
