WANDERERS SUFFER BOSS FROST LOSS |
|
Eastover Wanderers' season looks like descending into complete disaster after the news that in-form keeper Paul Frost will miss the rest of the campaign after suffering a double break to his left hand in the club's recent fixture against Cross Rifles.
Frost, who is Eastover's Player-Manager, revealed to the gathered media outside Musgrove Park Hospital that he had broken two metacarpal bones in his hand and would be unavailable for approximately twelve weeks, with an operation looking very likely.
In a bid to rescue their now catastrophic season, Frost has announced that he would very much like to hear from anybody aged seventeen and upwards who consider themselves to be a goalkeeper. The club's contact details are available on this website.
Paul also stated that, although this season might be over, he would definitely show "bouncebackability" and return next season stronger and more focused on propelling his young Eastover side forward.
BREAKING NEWS:
An unnamed rival local manager is apparently questioning the overall seriousness of the injury and has inside information that Paul Frost is in fact currently having talks with both Wolves and Portsmouth regarding their vacant managerial positions.
