On a day that suffered from a bad case of wind the Uxella League saw new leaders at the top of the table as reigning champions Woolavington assumed top spot for the first time this campaign after a 6-1 home win over a ten-man Pawlett United outfit. Four of Woolavington's goals came in the final ten minutes of play.
Tiger Old Boys also move up the table into second place after a 4-2 away win over fellow high-flyers Quantock Pride. The Tigers took an early lead through Ian Bellinger but Pride were level at the break after successfully converting a penalty. However, a stunning second half hat-trick from youngster Max Cushing sealed the game for the visitors.
The revival of Flag Old Boys continues as they ran out convincing 4-0 winners away to Maxwells. They took a first half lead through a goal from a corner from Lee White. Then a 35-yard screamer from Sebastian Mic and two converted spot kicks from veteran Martyn Allen, taking his tally to seven penalties out of seven this season, made the points safe for Flag.
A depleted Grasshoppers '04 gave fifth-placed Railway Club a scare by twice taking the lead through a bullet header from Nigel Woodcock and a close range effort from Portuguese winger Claude da Silva. However, Railway won the game in the final twenty minutes after a Nigel Gillard strike and two goals from former Grasshopper Chris "Bertie" Lynham.
Two goals from Mike Skidmore and one from Dean Organ gave Maltshovel Sports a 3-1 away victory over Cross Rifles.
In the Second Division Cannington return to top spot after a 4-1 home win over Ramblers. Nathan Chillingworth (2), Sam Chillingworth and Josh Turner were the men on target.

In an amazing display of timeless technique 54-year-old Scottish legend Bob Kippen scored two wonder goals in reply for the Hoppers. The first was a Roberto Carlos-style low, driven free-kick and the other was a long range effort from just inside the centre circle.
Sportsman ran out 3-2 winners over visitors Huntspill Crowns after goals from Thomas Remiszewski, Callum Waters and Robert Footlong.

Pawlett Reserves and Woolavington Reserves shared a point each after a 2-2 draw. Matthew Bain gave Pawlett an early lead but Woolavington soon equalised. The score then remained at one-a-piece until three minutes from time when Woolavington looked to have nicked it with a goal from a corner. However, Martin Milton equalised for Pawlett with more or less the last kick of the game.
