REPORT: COBBLESTONES 1 RED TILE 13 |

Following on from last weeks comfortable win over Admirals having struggled to raise a team, Tile had the complete opposite this week where nearly all the players returned, giving the Manager a selection nightmare.
Tile were obviously very confident going into this game realising that Cobblestones have been leaking goals at a rapid rate of late..
Tiles Goals came from James Hamilton (4), Ian Luke (3) Andy Staunton (2), Jason McPheat (2), Gary McCreedy (1) and Sam Walker(1). In fairness the score could have been doubled.
The game also saw the return of Kev Braund following injury and the debut of Neil Matthews
Credit needs to go Cobblestones though. They are a credit not only to the league but to football in general. They are a club who know that are out of their depth in the First Division and by their own admission find it hard each week, but they don't moan and clearly just enjoy being on the field. I even heard a shout in the 80th minute after being 12-1 down of:"Come on lads!!! We can still get something out of this game" which I thought was amazing, how although getting hammered they could still have a laugh on the pitch.... I believe that there are a number of clubs that could and should learn from the spirit in which Cobblestones play.
Tile will look to continue this form at home against fellow strugglers Clearwater next week.
