RIFLES LATE SURGE FOR SAFETY |
|
The Cross Rifles only their fifth win of the season with an emphatic 6 - 2 victory over Ashcott. With both teams depleted due to the Easter holidays they both gave a good account of themselves with Rifles centre forward Craig McGann having to play in goal. A hatrick from Carl Jones (Our man of the match), a brace from Adam Kinsey and Paul Cornish's first goal of the season secured three valuable points for the Rifles to help hopefully secure first division football for next season.
